ABOUT US

Born and raised in Venezuela, Placido Freites immigrated to the United States as a graduate in Civil Engineering from Santa Maria University. He would get his foot in the door with Romac Building Supply as a draftsman, where he learned to work with local contractors and owner-builders on residential projects, and be on the up and up with permitting and code enforcement in the counties, cities and municipalities in Central Florida. Placido would go on to work on the engineering team for the renowned Cuhaci and Peterson Architecture Firm with commercial clients such as Wawa, Walmart, 7-Eleven and Publix. He continued his career path in engineering with Clymer, Farner and Barley working on the ever expanding development of The Villages. Placido realized his passion for custom builds and is now the president of Toolbox Drafting Services. As a draftsman, Placido enjoys taking up the challenges of as-built projects, additions,remodels, custom homes, and helping other industry professionals. Placido counts on a network of local industry professionals to make your project a reality by bringing it up to code and permitted.
